Human life is very closely bound with the geographical conditions of the earth. Climatic conditions, earthquakes, floods, drought, pandemics, wars, and other social erosions affect social life and induce social changes. In human history, there are many examples when flourishing civilization got destroyed because of natural calamities. Although human beings adapt themselves in the changed tough environment, they have the capacity to transform their physical environment also, according to their needs and requirements.
Adaptable societies have three major capabilities. First, they are vigilant and anticipate future dangers. Second, they are open to discussions and induction of new ideas. Third, they are not only ready to abandon the unwanted and outmoded beliefs, practices, and values, rather are ready to experiment with new ideas. Adaptable societies, repel and reject conservatism, authoritarianism, and isolationism. They appreciate and invite openness because correction and consolidation in the society keep on going continuously, which improves resilience.
Values, beliefs, ideas, aspirations, and institutions both social as well as political are the basic elements of a culture or vice versa. There’s a close relationship between our beliefs and social relationships. There are two major aspects of culture.

The first comes from within the society and the second comes from another culture outside the society.
Development of science, technology, and secularization of thought have contributed a lot to the development of the critical and innovative character of the modern outlook. There is another research report, according to which, ideas could influence the course of social change. Ideas and ideologies together are very powerful influential factors in social change. Economic influences create far-reaching ripples in society. We have seen that it has revolutionized the whole way of life in the last two hundred plus years, especially in the last forty years. Another factor is the state, which is the most powerful organization which regulates social relationships because it has the power to legislate the new laws. The type of political leadership and individuals in power majorly influence the rate, direction, and fate of a social change.
But it seems, all the development in different arenas have become meaningless and all of us are heading towards a difficult and TURBULENT TIME ZONE. Realists believe that fragility is an unavoidable aspect of social and political life. World politics are becoming more unpredictable, more uncertain, and more dangerous. The suppression of geopolitics by geoeconomics, mutations of international security, the growing intensity of conflicts between different value systems and ideologies are the immediate effects of globalization. The overall impact of these trends is a diffusion of power and influence.
Unresolved structural issues in different countries such as aging, population, income inequalities, poor competitiveness, and poor policies for managing sovereign debts are some of the critical flashpoints. Nationalism and populism are ascendants across the world, undermining the effectiveness of the domestic, regional, and global policy. Rapid technological advancements are empowering some people and countries while marginalizing others. The number of poor countries is poor, precisely because they have a narrow elite, that hasorganized society for their benefit at the expanse of the vast mass of people. Their cunning capability has built a fragile nest from their greedy intellect, just as the weaver bird builds a nest.
Global warming will affect not only human health, livelihood, food security, water supply, and economic growth, rather the whole ecosystem. All species have an environmental niche. Despite all the technological advancements, the repercussions of climate change are going to be devastating as we are seeing today. Mother Earth is also in deep pain. The biggest challenge is how to bring the global economy to carbon neutrality. The second challenge will be, how to tackle the massive national and international human migration because of climate change, such as sea-level rise, extreme heat, storms, drought, and wildfire. It is going to impact both the areas, that lose population and the area that gains population. This critical impact is going to create ECONOMIC, SOCIAL, AND POLITICAL TURBULENCE.
Regular transition in this world is the fact of life. But with the pace, things have started happening around us, are difficult to be absorbed by humans. We have created, what we have desired. We need to look at life and this world in a different perception. Amid the continued escalation of global changes, our world urgently requires transformative energy. Institutions can provide this through well-meaning research and education. We require the organizations and people, who can not only illuminate the future of the societies and the countries, rather serve as a cradle for pooling the wisdom required to create solutions. When you play the strings of a guitar slowly and in a defined way, it gives you music, but if you play fast and haphazardly, it gives deafening noisy sound.
