The main door of a house is believed to be the gateway for both positive and negative energy. As per Vastu Shastra, keeping the right plants at the entrance brings peace, prosperity, and harmony, while the wrong ones may invite obstacles. Bhopal-based astrologer and Vastu consultant Pandit Hitendra Kumar Sharma shares seven plants and trees that should be avoided at the main entrance. Big trees: Planting big trees directly in front of the main door is considered inauspicious, as they block the entry of positive energy and hinder progress. If the shadow of a tree falls on the door during the day, it is seen as a Vastu defect. Even the Peepal tree, generally regarded as sacred, is not suitable at the entrance. (News18 Hindi)
