Gradually this fast pace is converting into self-created but uncontrollable turbulence. Since evolution is a universal phenomenon, human beings too have a natural inclination for change.

It’s also a part of the natural process that society experiences regular changes, in spite of the fact that many societies strive for stability and nurture an illusion of permanence. Social change occurs within the life of an entire community and not in the life of an individual or a group of individuals.

It’s a universal phenomenon and occurs throughout the world, even though the speed and scale may vary from one society to another. The major factors behind social change are either technology, economic development, or change in climatic conditions.

There’s also a theory according to which all social changes are bad, because of the belief that a man once lived in a perfect state of happiness which is deteriorating over time. It can’t be overstated that we are living in a time of unprecedented change.

The interconnectivity of people, interdependence of economies, and trade have never been so pervasive, as we are seeing today. Economic globalization has moved over one billion out of poverty and also improved global prosperity, but side by side inequality or disparity in the world has increased significantly. Coupled with political polarization, inequality erodes a country’s social fabric.

Technology is extremely powerful and it has changed our lives completely. New technology always revolutionizes our lives and take it to a new level. People who know their purpose, report a surprising increase in synchronicity and serendipity in their lives. They allow all kinds of changes and things to happen in their life, rather than fighting against it.

Instead of fighting and challenging themselves, they tend to battle against their fear and insecurities. They are able to take pleasure in living a purpose-driven life and are better at tackling every situation in a creative manner. Purpose offers a psychological buffer against all kinds of obstacles in life. Purpose acts as a navigator and as a guide in this ocean of life where turbulence is a certain phenomenon.
