We are unaware, that all of us have an infinite space deep inside us. Or does each one of us have a sleeping universe of our own? There’s an unfathomable ocean of thoughts flowing in different layers of our inert conscious, subconscious, and unconscious levels. Mostly it does not get activated, because we are so intensely engrossed in our external world, that we forget to recognize this internal world which is as real as this physical world. Our life is what we make it. It is only a vast emptiness. We fill it and make it completely, by the way we perceive and live. The only corner of the world one can be certain of improving is really within one’s own space. We can attain fulfillment only by deep mining ourselves, meeting ourselves, and knowing ourselves, and not by trying to meet only the benchmarks of this external world.

Trapped in the web of our senses and perceptions, we access only the physical world of form, time, and space. Through our senses, we see the Sun, Moon, Sky, Earth, Mountains, Ocean, and other natural elements of the world and this cosmos. They are part of this universe. Along with this we also see all the manifestations in this world, in the form of buildings, roads, planes, cars, specific facts, events, actions, and reactions, including ever-improving technology, data, and infrastructure, created and developed by human beings. This activates our neurobiological profile helping in creating our external world. But we also have dreams, desires, needs, pleasures, thoughts, feelings, emotions, imaginations, insecurities, memories, and much more, which exclusively is our very own internal world. We are always in search of, what is true and what is reality. The answer is “reality is formless and it is also timeless. It’s only pulsating now, without any past and future”.
Our mind which is the only tool to see and observe this external or physical world, is severally constrained, and limited to what it can perceive through the five senses only. All our experiences of life are limited to our sensations only, which are controlled by our brains. We can’t experience this physical world or life beyond our sensations. The senses are the only instruments for us to perceive the world. We can’t see the outside world in its absolute form. We see it only with our perception. It can process only a tiny portion of the surrounding energy field and consider it as reality. We can’t see everything or hear everything, or know everything, as our sight, hearing, and observing faculties are limited by the light, sound, and other frequencies, which our eyes, ears, and mind can process. Likewise for hearing, snakes, cats, and dogs who can see and hear different frequencies must be constructing a different world.

All our knowledge of the physical world around us is derived only from our perceptions, and individual perceptions are always subjectively manipulated to give us the impression of reality. In that situation, how would we know otherwise? Consciousness is simply the result of how the brain works. Reality is what we take to be true. What we take to be true is what we believe. What we believe is based upon our precepts. What we perceive is what we look for. What we look for depends on what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe. What we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is our reality. We are enmeshed in the circularity of thoughts.
Life can be lived in two ways. One way is to remain engaged in the external reality. When our interest remains only in the external world, we simply separate ourselves from the whole truth. All our pain, suffering, and stress exist because we remain engaged only with the external world. Another way is to stay connected with our inner world and allow life to unfold in the external world. When we stay connected with the inner world, slowly the unnecessary things of the external world get filtered out of our lives. When we can observe both our internal and external world, certainly no part of our life is left to any chance or fate or out of luck. Rather everything in life becomes a part of almost a definite process. The external world is like a horse and the internal world is the reign over it. It will help in traveling the journey of life if we have the right coordination between the both.

“A man can’t directly choose his circumstances. But he can choose his thoughts and so indirectly yet surely shape his circumstances”. James Allen. Mental creation always precedes the physical creation of anything and everything. What happens in the external world impacts our internal world, which in turn determines and guides our decisions. It determines our choices and our behavior. Before a building is physically constructed, there’s always a blueprint. Our thoughts are the blueprints of our lives. When we learn to channel our thinking both consciously and subconsciously, we create the conditions that make the road to our goals in life. It’s always better to be a better human being than to be a successful person. We are designers of our destiny. The simple routine will help us crystallize where we want to go and how will get there.
